SUNDAY SCHOOL
For kids age 3 years through 4th grade. Meets Sunday mornings from 10:45-11:30am following Worship during the program year. Children are grouped by households and are physically distanced when indoors. Masks are not required, while any child is welcomed to wear a mask at any time. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
VBS is held each summer for kids through 4th grade in the morning one week. This year it will be held from Monday July 14 through Thursday July 17, 2025.
MILESTONE EVENTS
Milestones are the stepping stones of faith such as the Blessing of the Backpacks, Blessing of the Bibles, Communion, and Confirmation. Some Milestones occur in worship while others are educational events for all ages. Watch for Milestone Events in emails and the Zion Weekly News.

HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP
Meets Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:00pm, sometimes outside and sometimes in. Confirmation has happened or is being completed, and we use this as a jumping point to explore and develop our common faith. Mission trips, ELCA Youth Gathering trips, service projects, and retreats are other activities.
CONFIRMATION
Meets Wednesday nights from 6:45-7:45pm. Faith formation for 7th and 8th graders who affirm their faith in the fall of their 9th grade year at a Confirmation service.
5TH & 6TH GRADE YOUTH
Meets Wednesday nights from 7:00-7:45pm. Fun and faith formation for 5th and 6th graders.
MIDDLE SCHOOL EVENTS
Weekly events through the course of the year on Sundays from 5-6:30pm for 5th-8th graders. 2nd & 4th Sundays are at Zion & 1st & 3rd Sundays are at St. Andrews Lutheran. They play games, have great talks, do service projects and much more all keeping Christ at the center of the fun and fellowship.
Zion Children, Youth & Family (CYF) Team
Meets monthly and is comprised of the Director of Children, Youth & Family Ministry, adult leaders, parents, and a youth representative from the Peer Ministry Team. In these meetings, financial and programmatic decisions are made concerning all areas of ministry. This team is a decision making, leadership team. If you are interested in being a member, please contact Children, Youth & Family Ministry. The meetings, however, are open to all.
